She is Jesus-like

Quoting Anglican Archbishop Michael Ramsey, N.T. Wright said once,

“In God, there is no un-Christlikeness at all.” And, “When we want to know who God is, we must look at Jesus.”

N.T. Wright, Surprised by Hope

Jesus, his life example, and his teaching are how we know his Father. Father and Son are bound to the same highest way of all things, the way of Love. Telliard de Chardin revealed, “Love is the structure of the universe.” I Love that! So…how do we know if a text in the Hebrew scriptures is of God?

Like the man said, “If it ain’t Love, it ain’t God.” And, “if it doesn’t look and sound like Jesus, it is not his Father.”

Culture Evolves

Cultures evolve as human thought—driven by experience—evolves. Historical fact, over time, evolves into Myth and metaphor. The Bible itself is its own polemic for the evolution of humanity from violent, patriarchial, and tribalistic to yearning for peace of mind in the reign of the Spirit disclosed by Jesus. Only an evolved humanity can enter the kingdom on earth that Jesus proclaimed. As Mike Bell prophesied, “Love wins!”. Evil, committed as it may be to corrupt God’s good creation, will lose, and as Isaiah prophesied, “They [evil] shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
